If you are a trainee looking for fieldwork supervision hours from a competent and experienced BCBA to be set for success to pass the big exam and to be the greatest clinician you can be, look no further for a supervisor. I am a nationally certified behavior analyst with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (C) and currently a school-based behavior analyst. I have experience in a plethora of settings, including in clinic therapy and in home behavioral services. I am here to be a part of your journey as a clinician.

IEP Advocacy Services for Families
My IEP (Individualized Education Program) advocacy services are designed to support families in navigating the special education process, ensuring that students receive the services and accommodations they need to thrive. As a practitioner with 10+ years experience with the school system, I am able to help overwhelmed parents who want to build a better outcome in their child’s educational journey. These services include:
1. Guidance Through the IEP Process:
I will support you in understanding your child’s rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). I will help you navigate components of an IEP, including goals, accommodations, and related services. I will participate in, and prepare you for IEP meetings, including reviewing documentation and drafting your concerns or requests to your child’s team.
2. Meeting Representation and Support:
I will IEP meetings with you to provide support and advocacy. I will ensure the IEP team considers your child’s unique needs and complies with legal requirements. I will support our productive communication between us and school staff to encourage best outcomes for your child.
3. Document/Record Review and Development:
I review educational records, evaluations, and past IEPs to identify gaps or inconsistencies. I will provide draft IEPs to ensure they reflect appropriate goals, accommodations, and services.
4. Collaboration with Experts:
I will coordinate with specialists such as therapists, psychologists, or medical professionals to incorporate their input into your child’s IEP.
5. Training and Empowerment:
Keep on the lookout as I will be offering workshops as well as one-on-one coaching to build understanding of special education laws and procedures.
6. Problem-Solving and Dispute Resolution:
I will support you in resolving disagreements with your child’s school, including exploring informal and formal resolution options.
